I have had pain in my legs and feet for many many years. When I was younger I had many tests but nothing showed up.A week ago I had an ultra sound of bilateral achilles tendons and plantar fascia. The results showed chronic bilateral plantar fascia with partial thickness tearing on the right.Bilateral achilles enthesopathy. Can this be treated by podiatrist or is it strictly tms or can both treatment be done simultaneously
Thanks for writing, Ari.
Just because the ultrasound showed some changes, that doesn't mean that those are the cause of your pain. Many people have changes like that on ultrasound.
You need to look at your symptoms. Have they been there a long time? Do they get better with rest? Do they shift or move around?
Investigating this can demonstrate what's actually going on.
Let me know if you need help in sorting this out. You can email me separately on that.
