Yes, our brains very frequently substitute one symptom for another, as it keeps trying to scare us or alert us, depending on how you look at it.
If there are currently some issues and emotions that you need to deal with, you can do that, as described in the program.
If not, then you just need to stop worrying about the pain; stop thinking that it's some kind of structural problem. It's just another manifestation of your brain and not important.
